Much awaited v40 firmware for 5800 is here. Also new firmwares for N86 and E72

Great News for 5800 owners. Nokia has rolled up v40 firmware which is set to bring important new features and Symbian ^2 code. The firmware is going to be available for most product codes in the feature days/weeks, allowing 5800 XM users to update via NSU or FOTA(firmware over the air).

For the moment there is no detailed change log but as far as we know it brings Kinetic Scrolling in all menus, New homescreen and improved UI elements.

The bad news are here also. According to a friend of mine, the firmware is unhackable turning your phone into a locked Pandora box.

Also, a few days ago, Nokia has released v22 firmware for E72 and v21 for N86.
